“I am a Diné [Navajo] Artist, Writer & Graphic Designer. I've lived in Tucson for two-thirds of my life; having also spent time living on the Diné Reservation, in San Francisco & Los Angeles. Though I will always consider Tucson my home, there is an indelible part of myself buried in the soil of my ancestors. A major highlight of my life was being able to teach Middle School Art to Diné students in New Mexico for a year.

I take a lot of influences from my indigenous roots, as well as an eclectic assortment of contemporary sources, including formal art training. I strive to blend the odd with the familiar and push as many boundaries as possible. I find the crux of my artistic process is to elicit a unique experience, which hopefully is source for further inspiration. I definitely don't always find value in what's traditionally considered beautiful and believe in honoring the diverse splendor of our natural world.”
